Information the site handles
- Votes: selected proposal, time of submission and a one-way hash used to limit repeated voting.
- Comments: comment text, optional display name and submission time.
- Security checks: Cloudflare Turnstile processes technical information to distinguish legitimate visitors from automated abuse.
- Email: information you choose to send when contacting the project.
IP addresses and abuse prevention
For voting and comment rate limits, the application converts the visitor’s IP address into a one-way cryptographic hash. The application does not store the raw IP address. Hosting and security providers may process ordinary request information under their own policies.
Why information is used
Information is used to display public comments, calculate poll results, prevent spam and repeated submissions, maintain security, respond to enquiries and correct project data.
Public information and retention
Comments, optional display names and timestamps are intended to be public. Votes and comments may be retained while the public discussion features remain active. Security and rate-limit records may be retained as needed to prevent abuse. You may request review or removal of a comment by providing enough detail to identify it.
Your choices
Voting and commenting are optional. You can browse without submitting either. For privacy questions or a removal request, email contact@subaypakistan.org.
